Pay raises are already approved by AAG.

I think what’s really going down...
AAG - yo WOed’s raise pay and negotiate.
PSA ... hey union folk, raises for giving up XYZ. PSA Union - Ok where do we sign.
PDT ... not sure how this narrative is going since I don’t follow their politics much.
Envoy ... hey union. We got approval for pay raises in exchange for XYZ. Our union - nah, just pay raises will do.
And our management is probably telling daddy Doug we aren’t playing fair on the monkey bars.

If they are in negotiations, I hope they're not negotiating anything away. These raises need to be given if any of the WO want to continue running a decent operation in the future. No negotiation should be necessary and none of our unions should be expending any capital except for saying how waiting will bite mgmt in the ass down the road.

Which is why there should be no negotiation for pay rates. They need to do the rates, plain and simple, if not now, later. If they want PBS, they need to offer something completely different. Giving up anything for pay rates in this market is idiotic.

Flow is at 9 years. After HVA program balances the pilot population flow will be 10+ years. Flow will be considerably less effective at hiring, pay rates are the next logical step.
My guess: It will happen, with news end of 2nd quarter 2018.

AAG certainly isn't going to object to Envoy management not raising pay if they feel like they don't need to. The approval has been made though for when and if Envoy decides to act. While Envoy and the other 2 guys are obviously owned by AAG and receive support from AAG, they are still ultimately their own companies and operate how they see fit. Envoy gets cash from AAG and they get a flight file from AAG. It's up to Envoy management to determine how to implement both.

I’m not surprised. The company is all about capitalizing off the workforce. Until airplanes can land, handle emergencies, and navigate safely through wx on their own, the workforce will always be the primary target. Pay raises will come until it is in THEIR best interest. Always has, always will be. I don’t condone their decision at all, but this is why morale will always be nonexistent.
To me, their tactic is to put a price tag on our flow agreement, is also a fatal mistake. The majority of pilots chose this airline partly for the flow to AA. Putting a price tag on it now will severely hinder any pilots staying here for the duration and will leave even for any LCC.
