Does anywhere besides DFW use them?

If there have been some taxi incidents, would be nice to hear specifics from management as opposed to cryptic HI6s. But knee jerking to the wrong problem is a way of life.
Had Ed Delehant in our recurrent class. He talked specifically of multiple incidents recently of taxiing into gates that had rampers including wing walkers, but had equipment in the safety area. Led to damage

Those are the specifics that need to be put out in a safety bulletin and he’s the man to do it. Hopefully it will be forth coming.

Yeah he was adamant on our responsibility of making sure we do our due diligence and make sure everything is clear, even chocks. He did mention that the newsletter for next month should talk more in depth.

Sounds like a great opportunity to taxi very slow to parking while in the ramp area.

I guess the pilot group misunderstood that too.
CVR data cannot be used as the basis for punitive action. For example if you had an incident and they pulled the CVR and discovered that you were completely non sterile in another part of the flight, they could not punish you for it. But if the non sterile event contributed to the incident, you will probably see focus training for it...

Default Vacation + OT

If you pick up OT on a vacation day, do you get paid for both?

Use your sick bank if you are DTSing.

The 4-day trip was DTS’d. I can pick up an partially overlapping 3 day if it won’t forfeit any pay. How does using sick bank help if the OT covers the original guarantee? Are you saying use sick bank on the non-vacation days instead of picking up the OT?
