Putting another 50ish 145s in the ENY system with PDT’s bases would really increase that suck factor for the fleet.
Could we adopt their idiotic programs and training schedules? Flaps 45 and full reverse on everything, no EWBS, wiz wheels, and all schedules be 11 days off?

We complain about how bad it is at MQ, they are far worse off than we are.

Which is just the tip of the iceberg why being offered just the 50 seat rate isn't enough.

And hey, our weight balance is now electronic as of three weeks ago. Got that going for us!

Mergers are horrible, DO NOT wish for or accept this. Or kiss your current flow date goodbye, just one sacrifice of many you’ll take.

Agreed, I feel a merger would be the very last thing any of us should want. Not only would it take forever, but it would certainly screw with qol, flow, seniority, pilot unity etc for awhile.

Merger would be very bad.

Yeah. I don’t see anything positive that could come out of a merger. And certainly not with PDT.

So quick question. One of my good buddies is a cadet at envoy. I don’t know much about the program. I believe he’s used the benefits of it from traveling etc.

Is there any sort of repercussions if a cadet at envoy interviews at other wholly owned? What about if they accept the position? Just curious if they all talk to each other or not.

I know someone posted somewhere in here about this but the answers were mixed and I’m trying to get the low down for him.

Thanks!

Well then it's a given it will happen since everyone will not like it and most will be screwed.

Just have him look at the contract he signed. It should say how much they’d owe for accepting another job.

I certainly agree about reading the contract that was signed about what the commitment and obligations are.

There probably is not anything to prohibit interviewing with anyone else, but any resume submitted would have to include being in the Envoy Cadet program. Whether or not PSA or PDT would call is hard to say. But either way, this person needs to be able to explain why the desire to leave a contract already signed and how they intend to otherwise fulfill the obligations.
