Default Cost neutral pay improvements

Pedro’s post and my reply touch on something the company could do to at least improve QOL that would be cost neutral and something I don’t understand why AAG does this.

It seems like all the AAG contract flying gets the best lines. Anyone know why this is? All the contract companies can make a profit paying more the the WOs and get better QOL. Why doesn’t AAG keep the better lines in house and have even more profit than they have now? It would not cost AAG or the WOs anything to do that.

Improving the lines should let the company make more money and allow them to pay more without cutting into the profit margin.

My guess is the contract carriers wouldn’t bid on the schedules we have and AA still needs that flying done.

AA had that flying being done by eagle, then their stupid idea of busting eagle to 1/3 the size made their argument valid. But it was a false premise. Now we live with the shi+ they hand out and they expect you to be happy because you have flow.

Who wants endeavor like rates when we can taxi on two engines and run the APUs all flight long? After all summer is here with the heat and all those pop up thunderstorms. Refer to AOM1, it’s a safety issue. Might cost the company a little more in fuel, a little more than $15-20/hour, but can’t put a price on safety right?

Want to bet they cant put a price on safety. But I do agree with the safety issue you bring up.

I vote Envoy MEC cut the worthless donut/pizza parties. Instead, earmark funds to advertise how the average PSA Pilots earns vs Envoy pilot.
