New PSA Pilot Pay Agreement

Dera is just trying to justify to himself his decision to come here.
Envoy worked out great for me, and I’m moving on in a few weeks thanks to no reserve on the 145 back in 2016 and again no reserve after CA upgrade.
It’s not all doom and gloom but it’s not rainbows and unicorns either.
Your experience at envoy has more to do with luck/timing than anything else.
The place has definitely fell behind with regards to pay/conditions compared to other regionals. Add to that the increasing combative/punitive nature of crew scheduling and other departments.

It isn’t a bad place, but could and should definitely be much better.

I do agree about luck and timing. A commuter would have had a totally different experience than what I've had so far.

I live in base. That's all the justification I ever needed. Everything else has been a bonus on top of that. Living in base trumps any other regional work rule or pay rate.

Anyone that actually thinks something positive is going to come out of the negotiations probably hasn't worked here for very long and is in for a big disappointment. Anyone that has been here over the long term and has been through past negotiations and concessionary contracts...well, it's just going to be par for the course.
