So it appears the company didn’t get enough people to take their PLOA and are opening up again.
My question is, in regards to unemployment, has any successfully applied and received unemployment pay while on this program?

Just playing devils advocate here but what does it really matter if you have to send it back? Is it just the hassle of the whole thing?

It’s inconsistent w/ the requirement to stay proficient for recurrent and their ability to cancel the LOA. It was also not mentioned during the CSLOA negotiations, or mentioned before the application deadline. There’s no Envoy policy that requires it, it’s simply the company inconveniencing those that are helping them.

No real reason to hassle with taking them back.
And why should you lose JS and KCM? No reason. Someone said it wasn’t the company that pushed that part. With current loads, JS isn’t really an issue, but KCM is still nice.

Do they offer the same options, a one year leave?
It would probably be a good idea to give leave before laying people off. The senior guys cost more, so I’m sure they will prefer ppl to take the leave option than to lay off, right?

Pilots are at 1 month intervals that the company can extend based on need.

Hypothetical question:
Come October 1 and the company starts furloughing. Say they furlough everyone below a certain number. Call it “NNNN”. If you were hired after “NNNN” and you took the CSLOA, is the CSLOA terminated and you are furloughed as well, or do you finish the term of the CSLOA before your furlough starts? Does everyone hired before “NNNN” have to come off the CSLOA?
