Quote: JO keeps talking about some CPAs expiring imminently. Would you happen to know which they are? A new airline could be formed gobbling these up.
it’s already been formed. Is still under the radar. Has Wayne Heller as their CEO (formerly of Republic). The parent company is the one that saved Republic, Wexford Capital. They’ll be in a great position to pick up new CPA flying. If you dig around hard, you may find a press release from the middle of last year or so. Other than that, they’re still under the radar.

Quote: that would have been if there were only 604 pilots at Envoy. With 2000 pilots the flow would have been 17. With 2500 pilots it would have been 21. I know math is hard.
Apparently so is reading. I didn't say we flowed as low as 5, I said I believe we "could" flow as low as five, which is true and this was a comment connected to the deal the SP worked out.
Quote: Precisely. The haters here don't even bother to read the language. They just throw out arbitrary numbers that suits their narrative. This guy especially has a hate on for the Voy. I wouldn't put any stock in most of the numbers spouted out around here. Look for company insiders or those close to management for real time info.
OK, if I have "hate" to the "Voy" then you are its love child and are clearly not an objective resource. Not to mention you don't work here, are not close to management and have no inside information. Youve been wrong about every single prediction you have made. Why would I hate the place I am working at and honestly stuck at for the foreseeable future? Does it have issues, yes. Is it perfect, no. Is the flow as advertised, no again. Go get flying for your new employer AA, oh wait, nm.... All in all, a nice effort at trolling but sadly we all see through your routine now.

Interesting read, however, they are approaching two years now and nothing new has been mentioned. I wonder when that will happen? It was also interesting that the original company said they closed due to a lack of pilots, a problem I don't think they would have this time.

Refresh my memory. Did Envoy get through flowing all their Protected Pilots before the music stopped?

Yes they did.

According to the list there are still protected pilots who haven’t flowed for various reasons (MIL Leave etc.). The L10-11 group started flowing, but if a PP wants to go then they still would be able to go with and he/she would even be able to go with a step letter unlike the rest of the serfs who get a two year flow ban for one.

OK, I should have been more specific. Outside of the rare situation, the ones that were qualified and wanted to go, went.

that article is six months old, not two years. They didn’t even get the FAA approvals until around May 2020. I think they got it out of bankruptcy in December 2019. They actually are engaged in one project currently, but you’d have to dig harder to find it and it won’t be competition for Eagle.... yet

how long has it taken Breeze to get going, except they aren’t either yet.... Wexford bought it, brought in proven leadership and is rebranding for a new launch. Same company that turned Republic around.

Yeah you are correct. I went and reread it and I flipped a date around, my bad.

And like Breeze, they are heading for an environment of pilot surplus - at least in the short term - and both cheap used and new ‘white tail” aircraft availability. Either by dumb luck or smart thinking, it looks like they timed this well.
