Above… now that’s an airplane!

“The other RJ” would have more than sufficed. We are flying RJs, and trying not to hit other RJs. “Thanks for your help on the pushback, sorry if a bit slow, just being cautious”

I wonder if the FO went off the reservation or if that was the tone from both pilots.

perhaps the CA wanted the number to apologize for an over zealous FO. I will give benefit of doubt that was the reason requesting a number.

My thought initially too. A “shut up beavis” moment on board followed by a request for number to call and apologize later.

I kinda wondered the same. On more than one occasion I've heard something on the radio, usually ramp or ground where I knew it was the FO, and was certain the captain had to be resisting the urge to backhand the dude sitting to his right.

That was my perception, although a lot of the time when the FO is acting like a stressed out goober like that the CA is part of it too.

If the captain wasn't onboard with the FO's attitude, then the captain owns part of that anyway. They should have either told the FO to quit it or straight taken the radios away.

The other option is, like you said, the captain instigated it via the FO, in which case the captain owns most of it. The FO didn't need to be a ****, so they own that part.

It’s funny because he sounds exactly like most Envoy pilots on the radio. That lazy low toned voice that you can barely comprehend.

The FO is a hat guy. That's all I'm going to say about that.

Oh we already knew that. You could hear him removing it during the third radio call.:D

Any tips or tricks I should know that will make my life a bit easier being a new commuting 145 ORD guy?

Anything specific about the jet that you guys like/dislike?
