Lol I’m just trying to make the best of it since I know I’ll be on this plane for the next 2-3 years.

Don’t wanna go into my first airline job hating life just because I’m on a less desirable jet. However I know commuting to reserve will be hell. I’m prepared for that. Mostly just wondering the pros/cons of being on the 145.

The pros, you got a job.
The cons you got a job.
Have to balance.

You’re going to go into your first airline job hating life because your first airline job is at envoy.

=12pt

Get a big tube of KY Jelly for your time on reserve. All joke aside, if you know you’re going to need the jump seat, try to be at the gate early to check in with the CA that way he knows you’re commuting and will (typically) try to get you on.
Some gate agents are not that helpful/friendly.

The actual plane is fine, not sure what the lines look like in Chicago for the 145, but I don’t think they're nearly as bad as the DFW trips
