There's one more 140 scheduled to park soon. As far as I know, the 145s aren't scheduled to be parked.

Can confirm, I'm slated for an October class, according to the hiring folks, all the furloughs are in class/done and the rest of the new classes are new hires!

How many 145s are still left in the envoy fleet?

Way too many. 57 was the last number I saw, as of May, with no schedule for divestment.
Envoy 1 E140 57 E145 1 E170 98 E175 Piedmont 57 E145 PSA 61 CRJ-700 69 CRJ-900 Rumor has Envoy transferring more E145s to Piedmont starting Sept 2021. Also, it appears Envoy has a significant order (62?) of new E175s, likely to backfill for those E145s, plus potentially some growth. But those are unconfirmed rumors. Will Piedmont fly those additions birds or will they retire some of their oldest E145s? Don’t know. Will those additional E175s mean reduced flying for the non WO regionals flying for AA? Don’t know. |

That is what is reported on Plane spotters:

The way past transfers and divestments went and with training being what it is, if they announced tomorrow that all the 145s were going away, it would take at least three years to make it happen. |

Where does it “appear” that more 175s are on order? The last six new ones were sold off to RAH. AAG and ENY has always made a BIG deal of any new 175 aircraft LONG before they were ever seen (last of the order took almost five years to show up, and technically the last six were used 170s instead). Especially the way ENY is going on recruiting now, I’d think they would want that info officially released.

Just my ear to the ground. Consider it unsubstantiated from an unnamed source. I promised confidentiality.
But, I guess one of the ramper’s sister’s hairdresser would probably be one of those dozen. As far as any of the non-WOs loosing flying, SKW just added a bunch of planes to the contract. If any of them loose anything it would be Mesa, but even that has been extended, albeit in a slightly reduced and constrained manner. I really don’t see PDT growing. I think when ever the rest of 145s do finally start to go away from ENY the total number AAG flies will just be reduced. Don’t know the age/hours/cycles of PDTs aircraft, but I just don’t see them doing much more than they are now. But that’s just a personal SWAG. |
62 new planes is a big debt load.
