Terrible idea…. Sit tight where you are and hustle from there and if you don’t get the call, you will thank yourself for staying where you are at. I had the same feeling last year. You will get the call.

ORD domicile out of training
Hey!
After years away I'm looking at getting back in the game. My one deal breaker is long term commuting. I live in Chicago. I get that I my not get my base of choice right out of training but anyone know how junior ORD is and how long it should take to hold it?

Interesting. I have an interview near the end of the month and curious what they are going to say. OO is out to January and I’m curious if it’s the same here.I will be at minimums by the time I interview too, so Hoping for some info on that end.

Yeah they just aren’t giving any info on dates. Just “we will contact you when we can schedule you” could be weeks or it could be months.

This is the first bid that had any ORD openings in the past at least six months. It just depends. Pilots hired in the past nine months this was their first chance to transfer. It can still take a few months for the transfer to happen after awarded and they happen in seniority order. Best guess would be could probably get in three to six months, but past performance isn’t necessarily a predictor of the future.
