You won’t get a class date till you get to atp min. Captains board happens around 1250 hours. Once you pass that you still have over 200 hours you need to build before they’ll give you a class date. Cadets are given different priority in terms of class dates vs cfis. By the time you hit atp min those classes that are supposedly full might not be.Originally Posted by jleckie1
I’m just wondering how long it has taken other cadet instructors to transition from cadet instructor to FO and get a class date? How far out are the class dates after the captains review board?

Any idea when they’ll start up classes for non 121 guys?Originally Posted by Planegeek
Well I’m a couple months out of getting my cjo and just over 1 month since requesting a class date. As of now classes (for non 121) seem to be suspended indefinitely.

From what I was told after talking to them today was that there is no delay for class. They have opening availability. The only delay they see is sometimes PRIA records take long to get in from the FAA or employers. So that could be 3-8 weeks.

I think Pria’s are required to be delivered within 30 days of request. I think. I feel like I’ve heard that somewhere before.Originally Posted by flightvector

Good to know about the PRIA. I was in Irving for fingerprints/drug screen (already had a CJO) on June 23rd and have received zero correspondence from the company after reaching out via email and voice-mail. Kinda disconcerting/frustrating as I'm trying to plan my exit from my current regional.

Same story at my regional, unless we are at the same one 🤣. Mine takes every single second allotted of those 30 days.Originally Posted by Theflyingmurse

I guess places think they can drag their feet as much as they can to keep you just a bit longer…Originally Posted by DocMcFly

No PRIA for airlines worked at over 5 years ago, correct? Just FAA.
I got out of the airlines almost 7 years ago, I got an add in the mail from Envoy advertising the new rates and perks. Does this mean they don't have enough candidates? Probably NOT!
