That would be great for me as every pilot below me is a GOOD pilot (well, maybe not a few characters here ), but pilots have a history of spending money based on checks claimed to be in the mail that never arrive or arrive much later then planned.
I consider Miss Cleo a more reliable source than anything YOU have ever heard.

LOL !

I heard from Mason665 that Envoy new-hires of today will be at AA in 6 years or less. Yeah, you're right. That's not very reliable, but it sounds intoxicating, yes ?

BTW, Delta plans on hiring 1600 over the next two years (I heard) and they have a better track record on "plans". Parker has stated that little domestic growth will occur at AA and most will be International. The overwhelming majority of domestic growth involving AAG will be at the regional level.

Now, .............how can we get more pilots to go where we need them to be at AAG ?

Then why did you ever leave Eagle? Its the wave of the future! You and your buddy Boyd should get together and work this out. So far you both have about the same track record.

Someone might have to define "overwhelming majority."

2015 estimate for domestic ASM increase - 54% at regionals, 46% at AA.

Let's see...

1950 pilots at envoy - 350 that will not flow = 1,600

1600/6(years for a new hire to flow) = 266.7 pilots that have to flow a year.

As far as they can hire enough people it's totally possible. It will be hard, but it's not impossible.

AA has never trained 100 in two weeks. Circa '98-'00 it was usually around 100 a month.

ASM's ?

That's just pilots flying more for the most part. From what I've heard 2016 will be mostly International growth at mainline, but pilots will fly more both Internationally and domestically. PBS will make that certain.
