Remember, it's a closed shop so even if you don't want to join the union you'll still pay dues.

You wanted to vote in concessions since the beginning and make less money. Now you are whining about making less money due to dues. You are making no sense.

The union has to represent all pilots hired at the airline. All pilots benefit from the negotiated work rules. That is why they still pay the dues.

My point was that ALPA is incredibly ineffective representing regional pilots and that incompetence is even more magnified at Envoy. You're not being repaid on your investment under ALPA if you work at a regional.

I don't pay union dues for my family's company, we don't have a union. I'm out of the industry thankfully.

You voted for concessions and pushed for it from the very beginning. Just think about that for a second... You are the cause of low pay at the regionals. Then you left.

Of course you don't pay union dues at a place that doesn't have a union. Family business none the less. Have to worry about protecting yourself there...

Word on the street is they took more concessions for that vacancy bid.
