Buddy of mine over there says he was in the CPs office and overheard that you guys will likely be getting a lot more 175's than originally thought. Some may be coming from an as yet undisclosed carrier. Take that vague rumor for what you will. Rumor also has it that AAG would like to move even more of its feed in-house. Bad news for AWAC and RAH and some others, good news for the wholly-owneds.

I have been on property 3 years and 9 months. There are 210 DFW FO lines for June, 110 FO RSV lines. I have 20 people ahead of me on RSV for June, of which maybe only 5 are choosing to be on RSV. If the FO you flew with had a line it was probably because he was in a base that was closing down. This month we had 216 lines, next month down to 210. Management and planners are absolute morons! What successful airline operates at 35% reserve?

not sure what status you're in, but I've been here over 4 years and can't hold a line. I'm stuck on reserve.

Reserve time here is long because we've been shrinking for the last 3 years. As we continue to flow guys month after month, take 175 deliveries, and hold the CRJ's longer than planned, our "right size" is rapidly approaching.
Reserve is only 3 years for the guys hired 3 years ago. I'd expect a new hire to sit reserve for about a year. About a year from now, I'm guessing that reserve time will drop even more.

Things will change again soon with all the displacements and training coming up.. Lots of senior FO's going to the 175 soon so that will move guys up the 145 list.. As long as we don't lose them all too fast..
A new hire today could see a lot better movement than someone hired 4 years ago.. ***If things go as advertised.
It's all just getting in at the right time, and luck.

I've yet to hear either Envoy or AAG advertise a single thing. All I've heard is the trumpet blowing of one of your reps with a very shaky rep himself.

I've been ****ed off the last couple of years with what's happened here at eagle, but it's about to get better.
Yes, PSA is taking the CRJs with two already up in MQT. But, we are training pilots for the 175 and will be replacing the CRJs with 175s. Really doesn't matter. Our pay rates are the same for FOs regardless of fleet type. Might as well give PSA our old worn out planes and get some brand new ones, right?
