Good luck to the pilots at Eagle.
HAHAHA. The rationalization on this forum is palpable. You boys keep telling yourselves what you are saying to make it sound like what you did wasn't reprehensible. Maybe you will actually believe it. That moment in time, when you are asking an eagle captain for a jumpseat, or introducing yourself as a PSA pilot at an ALPA function, or....whenever...it is at that moment when you feel that little twinge - that is when you will know how you really feel, and not just the words you post on the internet. If you are really proud, more power to you.

What the haters keep missing is once all the wholly owned carriers turn Parker down he will send the aircraft to a contract carrier where the pilot input is not needed. As long as Dougie gets the rate he wants from management, the pilot contract there is irrelevant. (Unless by some miracle everyones contract is in negotiation at the same time.) Envoy, PSA, PDT go away and a contract carrier (or carriers) gets the planes. Doug still gets what he wants. Of course Envoy, PSA, and PDT pilots can all tell the rest of you how proud they are that you "held the line" when they greet you at Home Depot. As for "don't mess with Parker" well I think the recent actions from AAG in regards to Envoy's 700 back up that claim.

Life support? Really... That's the fear they put in you? I love how you keep running to mesa for this sh*t storm that you and your parent group created. So afraid of mesa and there 10 900s that they added into PHX/CLT. You guys freaked out because of some new faces in CLT. Keep the blame game going and use mesa as your excuse for all your votes, it's been happening for years. You were desperate, stagnant and wanted your upgrade...end of story.
How can you possibly say the threat was not real? You are letting emotions get in the way of rational thinking

Your posts are consistently emotional, caustic, and unproductive.
I'm not trying to bash anyone, or prove that I'm "in the right." I'm just pointing out the perspective of the PSA pilots at the time in relation to the perceived threat to our jobs that in the end was proven to be very, very real.
You just continue to spew hate. That's not why I'm here.
I also voted no for our TA. I realize now that was actually a mistake.

Would they still have taken the flying away from Eagle if PSA told them no? Who would they have given it to if all the pilot groups down the line said no? And who would they have given your flying to had your pilot group taken a stand along with all the other groups? I'm not being sarcastic, I'm asking real questions.

AA gave 20 of the E170/175s slotted for AE to Compass with options for more.
AA said if PSA votes no then they will give it to Mesa.
Compass and Mesa pilots did not and will not have a say in whether they want the aircraft or not.
Go jets and XJT are operating comair CRJs. They did not have a say in it.
The flying is not yours. Neither are the aircraft. Parker did debunk the theory that AE is too big to fail. I know the old AA couldn't get rid of AE no matter how hard they've tried but the new AA is all about squeezing every last cent out of their employees. Look at America West and US Air. One group hates the other while the company enjoyed having the lowest paid major airlines because the pilot group cannot come together to negotiate a new contract. PSA is being hated by AE and the others while the company will be saving millions by transferring aircraft from senior group to a small group that will double in size and have 2-3 year captains.
Do you really think this is a coincidence? They didn't feel one bit of remorse taking away your 700s. What makes you think they won't shut PSA or PDT down the moment they don't feel like we're necessary to use against another regional carrier.

The continuous argument about which regional is better is ridiculous. They all suck to include mine. Guys / Gals pointing their fingers at each other, name calling and berating each other does nothing to improve the industry. What might improve the industry is one seniority list, one pay scale and contracts awarded based on performance metrics alone.
Until you all quit or work together as one, nothing will change. I wish you all the best of luck. Its sad but luck has a lot to do with your future in the reginoal world. Does no good to blame others. Just the way the cookie crumbles..

This has been answered many times and even proven! Many of you are in denial and do not understand how this works.
