Envoy/Eagle to get 40 E-175's w/90 options
#81
The only reason management has gotten away with it in the recent past is because the bankruptcy court LET THEM get a way with it.
Now that there's no bankruptcy-forced contract in effect, management can't simply decide that they want to pay certain pilots more than others. Pilot pay is contractual, period!
They can't simply decide that they want to give some pilots more pay, even if that pay is in the form of a bonus.
Ask the IRS if they view "bonuses" to be different than any other regular form of income and see what they say.

Envoy didn't vote in concessions to grab aircraft slated for another airline, that was PSA. Envoy voted in concessions for aircraft that was always slated for them, big difference. Sad day indeed because this is the straw that broke the camels back and the camel is the future career as a successful airline pilot. This industry is pathetic.
You're completely full of garbage!!
You don't even know the facts. You aren't privy to the information, and all you do is assume.
News flash, you just ate a giant turd sandwich after capitulating. All for nought. Don't blame anyone but yourself. The deal you are getting now is way worse than any deal offered after PSA, or any other airline. You are one of the #1 burn it down goons.
I just hope the people who you brought down with your stupidity don't suffer too much with all the hiring going on.

Would you mind bullet pointing the gains for those of us not privy to the contract?

Pay raises in each year of the deal, increased vacation time, higher sick time accrual, increased per diem, better deadhead and min day pay, these are just a few, keep in mind we took gains in almost every area during a time when most airlines 9E and PSA were taking concessions...
