Nothing really... But Parker now has his cost down to where he knows a Contract Carrier can't do it cheaper. That's why Compass got a short term deal. You'll probably see most American Eagle flying done exclusively by the WO'ed carriers.

You are really dumb. You locked your pay for 3 years when everyone is making profits. For 40 airplanes? You do realize pilots are in demand? You had all the cards and blew it.

This is not a time to celebrate for Envoy pilots. My head hangs low in shame--feel free to deny me your jumpseat. The worst of it was at the ENY HDQ today where everyone was celebrating with cake ( decorated with an E175) and already an American Eagle E175 airplane model. To me, it was such a punch in the face when other employees came to the pilots to congratulate us and give us hugs and "thank yous". I just felt like I had came from a funeral. Legacy Eagle is dead. The new Envoy is here.

Ouch. Didn't realize you guys lose 1 week vacation. They take away your time off and freeze your pay? Crazy. Did you guys even look at what they offered you? Or did you just see bonus and shrink to just 40 planes instead of shrink to 0. Did you see in there every Thursday they will kick you in the nuts too? Just for 3 years though. That's not bad

Where's Mr. Lee moak in all this? I thought it was a shortage of pilot pay and qol at the ffd airlines.... wasn't he supposed to save the industry?

What happens to flow if they can't find new hires to maintain staffing? Do you get your AA number and pay protection on whatever you would hold at AA if they "need" to keep you at Envoy in violation of the flow program?

Just curious as this was rampant at COEX way back when the RJ expansion happened. There were guys held back like over a year in some cases getting tons of junior man pay at B757 FO rates to fly an RJ. Making like $18,000 a month in a few cases. But that was a flowthrough+furlough protection agreement. So, maybe apples and oranges.

I think they will have no problem finding guys now, because of the flow thru.

DAL and UAL will now have to institute Flow Thru, if they want to staff their regionals. It is the only way, other than massive pay increases to have enough pilots with the pilot shortage getting worse and worse going forward.

So it is what it is... what are the chances of you flowing to AA if you're a current envoy new hire?

I've said it before and I still believe it to be true; The first Major airline to lock down its regional pilots with a pure flow will be the winner. Looks like American is leading the pack!

Seriously?

Cake?

Nothing like celebrating the treating your employees like crap.

Yeah. This isn't the company I got hired at.

Default Envoy/Eagle to get 40 E-175's w/90 options

All this is just bathroom comedy for Doug Parker & Company as they sit on their thrones. Your big ALPA jet brothers at the main lines sold the "commuters" out years ago. You now expect unity within your own regional groups? You suckers would sell your own mother out for the hottest piece of ass in town. Unity?....get real. ALPA is just a "feel good" utility company you pay every month.
