Also, talking to them today, they said AAG knows they have to do something. They just don't know what...
How about if we start with pay raises and then we continue with bases and better reserve rules?
That's what they should be doing...take note AAG.
Pilots are folowing the money. Gotta give them money...

Another aspect is that I'm sure they question whether simple pay raises would have much impact truly keeping Envoy pilots from accepting positions at legacies or especially LCC's and in this I think that is correct. Personally, I think it would be throwing good money after bad and the real solution has to be something outside Envoy in and of itself. It will have to be a (painful for them, I'm sure) admission that they've screwed up and significant investment in their operations pilots across the board from mainline through to regional. Since the resource of pilots is still flush for legacy flying, that is where IMO they should apply their efforts just like Delta and UAL as ultimately, that has the best chance at maximizing the career benefits to both present and future pilots operating the smaller regional sized aircraft on behalf of AA. AAG once again just demonstrated their penchant for being followers of others by altering their FF model to money spent as opposed to miles earned just like the others, so this would be nothing new.
The clock is ticking for AAG and hopefully whatever solution they decide on will be correct and timely. The longer they kick this can, the higher likelihood of mortal infection from a rusty over-kicked can.

Somebody just said 2 weeks ago that 145 ORD is now 5 months. You have to be in that specific status to look it up, so I can't check the current numbers.
Time to hold a line on the 145 in ORD is down to 5 months. I'm bidding 70% in base and can hold a line with 15 days off. Not much credit, but with 200% OT you can make it up, if you choose.
ORD is where the QOL is for junior guys on the 145. DFW was a miserable slog for me. ORD is much better, even with a longer commute.

New Envoy Information
Jan '16 hire is bottom line holder in ORD on the E145. There are 241 active FO's and June has 189 hard lines.
Aug '15 hire is bottom line holder in ORD on the CRJ. There are 163 active FO's and June has 113 hard lines.
With the vacancy a few months back, FO's are moving off the top, so there's been upward movement the last couple months.
However, we are no longer overstaffed and with flow and attrition continuing with very few new hires, something will have to give or we will probably park airplanes by the end of the summer.
Parking airplanes is bad for getting off reserve because your relative seniority stagnates. When I came to Eagle, guys at my current seniority number were junior captains, but I still haven't cracked 50% as an FO.
