I read it as a two year, not a seven year. Am I misreading it?

Edit, disregard. Just realized they're throwing in an end date, instead of saying as part of the existing CBA which becomes amendable in 2024 also.

That's interesting too. When the CBA goes into section six, you immediately snap back to the old rates....

No your right, its 2 year. And buffalo breath before you is misrepresenting facts once again. If your in the training center and your at 5th year you go to 20 year pay scale.
but its not bad, overall. Regarding dollars work rules still stink.

It’s after 5 years, not at 5 years

how can the MEC say this is not a significant change to the CBA compensation rates?

this should have been voted down with that two year sunset clause. It’s a bandaid.

permanent raises, not bandaids.
management is using the commonly held - and true - fact that you can bail to almost any major or legacy before this LOA expires, so it’s okay for everybody today. However, if a big recession hits and hiring stops you’re back to being screwed in two years. Shortsighted by the MEC to approve this
Keep plying your trade here buddy. No one is listening to you and they haven't been for years. If you still had one or two groupies, they're now gone with Envoy getting the BEST pilot contact in the industry! I mean you have guys over in the Skywest forum actually discussing bailing for Envoy. Keep it up bro. It's just funny at this point.

Now throw in AA seniority when you upgrade and you've locked in the majority of the pilot group. Pay is nice, but seniority is everything.

The likelihood of WO getting seniority at AA upon upgrade, after this and the bonuses, basically zero.

The CBA expires then so they will more than likely negotiate an entire new contract. But the rates approved for 2024 and beyond are higher than any other regional at this time, for both CPT & FO
