Is the bonus for new hires heavily taxed? Pre taxed or one is responsible for paying the pax out of it.

I'm pretty new to this stuff. thanks

It is heavily taxes, but it applies to regular income when you file your return so you will get money back from it on your return. Company takes it out for you

The amount they withhold depends on how many exemptions you take. Still like the guy says above it applies to regular income tax.

Can't see why the other regionals would be immune to the same.
Well, although I'm not thrilled about the new pay structure it is a vast improvement. That was posted before all the details were out and although pay decreases by 10,000 dollars on year 4 it's much better than the inaccurate details I was getting about PSA. This is a huge step in the right direction and I can only hope we can make positive changes like this in our QOL work rules and schedules.

70 new hires in two months is a significant step in the right direction for clearing up stagnation. Now that we have this new pay scale I am hopeful we will able to do even better.

If anyone currently commuting to DFW or ORD from Austin or San Antonio would be willing to talk to me about trip commutability I would really appreciate the input. Please PM if this is too off the "pay increases at Envoy" topic. Thanks.

I saw January 2016 hires had lines as of a couple of months ago. Lines come out today, so I'll update the current time for ORD FO junior line holder in a couple of days when it goes final.
