Pay increases at Envoy

Where is this "if Envoy can't staff" scenario coming from? What do y'all not understand about our new hire numbers that have been posted over and over again. We have larger and larger classes every month and are now averaging 35-40 quality new hires a month. And that is before this pay increase.
If you think flow is such a bad thing to have, then go somewhere else. Good luck getting hired at a legacy in front of the 8,000 regional captains that have way more experience.

Secondly, experience does not 100% determine your possibility of being hired at a major airline. I personally know two pilots who have very different credentials. One is 25 y/o with around 5,000 TT, very little TPIC, no mil, online degree, some internal rec and did a lot of stuff outside of flying and he just got hired at DAL. The other is 39 y/o with a little under 9,000 TT, over 4,000 TPIC, degree from prestigious aviation university, no mil, 10+ internal rec but did not do much outside of flying and he hasn't been hit up by any major.
My reason for all this questioning is because there is a very strong possibility that this "Envoy can't do stuff" becomes realistic and what I'm trying to do is figure it all out.

First, I want to say that I NEVER made any statement that the flow is a bad thing. I think your right in the fact that it's great to have the flow in your back pocket. What upsets me is when Envoy promises that your at AA in five years when they know that they can't guarantee anything.

With raises comes new hires. Watch what happens in a month when all the applications and interviews work there way through and then start making the decisions. Judging by your post history It seems like your close to being able to apply but not quite at the hiring point. Watch it unfold and see how it works if you want.
Is 5 years guranteed? No. No recruiter will tell you that. Projections for someone hired now may indicate that, and thats what they will tell you. If we hire more and more and more people the flow date will be pushed farther and farther back though.
I'm happy to answer questions but if you come in with your own perceptions and aren't willing to change them. Then why even ask a question?

The airline is staffed right about where management likes it right now without these huge incentives. What happened to republic and endeavor when big raises were announced? That should be the history we are looking at not Envoy from a year ago.

At this point it's too early to tell how well the incentives would work, but I am betting we see a lot more applicants. 60k is nothing to laugh at.

I'm all for looking at what ifs. Like people should know that if envoy can't staff the flow will be metered and there won't be a 40 person envoy month. However, there is another what if. What if envoy attracts classes of 30 and AA is able to hire 50% of their new hires through envoy through the protected pilots and 35% of the bankruptcy pilots and 25% of the post DOS. The list would fly through.
At this point it's too early to tell how well the incentives would work, but I am betting we see a lot more applicants. 60k is nothing to laugh at.

High flyer, guys in the 824 flowing now keep years of service when it comes to vacation. I'm not sure about other stuff such as 401k etc but after the 824 you don't go over with anything except your 6 digit part number. Your no better than a street hire. This was a change by Parker. Seriously question the motives of anyone trying to lie through omission.

Oh I know protected pilots don't get anything but a seat in a training class. I know it was argued about 401k before for the 824, as far as vacation goes, I thought that only transferred for guys before 824. Anyways, I've been known to be wrong.
