The 22 is perfect.
I agree with this. My Travelpro lasted less than 2 years with various repairs. I'm on year 8 or 9 with LW, with no end in sight. And I'm not gentle with it.

How's it looking for getting DFW out of training? If you can get DFW out of training, how long is reserve, i've seen past estimates but figured i'd try and get some updated info. I live in DFW and I want no part of commuting or living in ORD or LGA.

Junior line holder for June on the E145 is around an Aug 2016 new hire. Probably took him 6-8 months to transfer from either ORD or LGA and another 4-6 month to get a line. Junior line holder on the E175 is less than that but you have you to be pretty senior in class to get it and they also have to be offering it to new hires which is a crapshoot. Over the years I can think of only a handful of times they've offered DFW to new hires on the E145. It's a popular base and apart from Mesa and a small Xjet base it's the only game in town for most people.

Jan 30 hire, age 41 (until today ).

Was not old enough to get the 175 on class date and 145 DFW was not offered so took 145 ORD. Was awarded DFW through vacancy bid in March. Flow showed me getting DFW Aug 1st. With the several delays we were getting in training, I was happy with that. A couple weeks ago or so, the flow was updated and my DFW date is now Oct 1st. Less happy with that of course but at least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Having said that, I'm curious how opening MIA will effect flow. Wouldn't surprise me if it changes again but have no idea which way it will go.

Forgive the ignorance, but can someone explain "variety" and "cadence". I have an idea of the meanings, but I wanted to verify that I was understanding these phrases correctly.

3 variety lines
18 Cadence, 36 Commuter

Variety is anything other than a 4-day (day trips,2-day,3-day).
Cadence is basically 4 on 3 off, 4 on 3 off. Or back in the good ole days 3 on 4 off.

That makes perfect sense, thanks so much.

Default Reserve Times

Anyone have an update on current reserve times? The information I received from a recruiter was dated January 2017.

Anyone know how a Mesa pilot shows up on JetAway? Flights suck today and I'm trying to figure out if there are any Mesa pilots listed. I'm flying home on a Mesa bird and see an AA guy, but nothing else. Would they show up with FDJ? If so then I'm numero uno and hopefully I'll get lucky.
