All E175 fleet type long term is what I've been hearing from day 1. AAG seems to be heading in that direction as well...

It's a recruitment & staffing game at this point! Whichever WO recruits & staffs the most pilots gets the growth.

Net loss of aircraft would be great for everyone at Envoy. If we become overstaffed, we flow more pilots to AA (50% of the class at AA, no longer capped at 25/month). Everyone still moves up in seniority and gets to AA quicker because the company could no longer meter the flow.

However, this scenario is a pipe dream. In this hiring environment, AA will find flying for Envoy if it has the pilots. AA owns birds that several contract regionals are flying, 140's parked in the desert, and options on 175's. Unfortunately, we will never have a lack of planes to fly at Envoy.

Question to those more knowledgeable:

Is the E175 option exercise or aircraft from Compass transferred to ENY 'required' for ENY to maintain its FLOW projection which is tied to staffing & recruitment growth?

Question: When hired at Envoy, when you do indeed flow to AA, say Envoy for 5 years, when you hit AA are you treated like a 5 year employee or are you treated like all other rookies at AA new hire class ?

RE: bidding for trips, days off, equipment choices, etc

I guess my question is "guaranteed flow but seniority at AA re-starts" what happens ?

Thanks

You are treated as a New Hire. You will keep your employee number and will be able to roll over your 401K but that's it.

The 824 had some provisions in their agreement for some elements of longevity. I believe pertaining to vacation accrual levels. In terms of seniority for bidding, they still start at the bottom of the list. The 824 members are about done, we are approaching moot point status.

Crew Scheduling will back date your 3 move days and base orientation day to the day after you finished IOE. Hopefully you were able to knock that Orientation day with the chief out during IOE (free day off). Be sure to refresh your CCI if checking your schedule that way. They will build you a reserve schedule for your remaining days of the month. You can proffer via Hi31 the day prior to try and manipulate your reserve sentence.

Thanks. All of my IOE will have been done in ORD and DFW, but I went out to LGA on my own time to meet RF and get the lay of the land.
