Yes, unfortunately. I traveled across the United States to do my drug test and because my job offer letter wasn't dated for the same date I showed up, they wouldn't do my drug test. I waited all day just to get ahold of envoy and have them send me a new letter with the current date. So make sure your job offer letter that you provide the 3rd party has the "current day's" date on it.

Yea it just seems like a really stupid practice and a big hassle when you can just go to the nearest lab or just do it when you show up for class when the drug test really matters. Why do we have to fly across the country for a pee test???

They had me do mine in DFW during the ATP-CTP course. Maybe you can do the same. From what I understand, the test can be done at any crew base.

Anybody looking to hold a line immediately should consider ORD 145. The month of September has 7 lines uncovered and 0 reserves for the FOs.

Is it for AA or Delta? If for AA, I wonder what that does to their LAX AA flying. Do they send all 20 planes to PHX or send half?
