Or make it worth people’s while to upgrade. How many guys do you know that are fo to flow? I’m sure some don’t want to upgrade because 20 grand more is t worth not having their number 1 line choice or people don’t want to delay their flow. A multitude of reasons that have much less liability than forcing someone that may have got their 121 time a decade ago in a beech 1900 and is now forced to upgrade against their better judgement. What are they thinking?

Everyone please call your union reps and ask for guidance to be given to the pilot group. The online forum is great but this is one of those instances of why we have a union.

They're on to me. When I upgraded those bastards scheduled my checkride at 3:30am..I called and told them I hadn't had a 3:30am oral since College...so they best be rescheduling that nonsense.
And forcing FOs to upgrade? What a time to be alive. Reminds me of that one time I had to "entertain" a rather rotund gal while my buddy scored with her friend. Sure..I went into it kicking and screaming. But it turned out to be a fun ride. The fact that I bathed in pine scented Lysol the next day has no bearing on this discussion.
