I haven't heard of it happening to a specific individual but I know it has happened. Usually someone with some skeletons in the closet that may or may not have been properly disclosed. Multiple Check ride or company training/checking failures, criminal or excessive traffic ticket record.

Divided into two classes how? Gosh, I'm in the class later this month and it's gonna suck being in training behind all these guys, on reserve, and waiting to get the base you want back. I could only assume that Envoy is going to have the growth over the next year to support all these pilots. After seeing the amount of people that interviewed on my day alone, I wouldnt be surprised that the class on the 25th wouldn't be close in numbers to the one on the 11th.

Does anyone know that has recently finished training this year, does your 3 move days count toward your 11days off for the month or no?
From my understanding, scheduling will build a reserve line and prorate the days off I get. I just wasn't sure if they include the 3 move days in that prorating?

Probably some good info to know for any prospective pilot.
Been hearing that HR now is giving warn letters to pilots who call sick even with a valid doctors excuse for every occurrence. They are trying to make pilots use FMLA for every sick occurrence so that you don't get paid. Kind a funny that a CP said to me that if he ever knew I was flying sick, I would be fired? So you want us to bust our ears out but you don't want to know about it? This is our QOL here. Damn if you do, damn if you don't.
God I hope AA isn't like this.

There's a lot of misinformation regarding the CPO coming after everyone for sick calls. The guys that are getting brought into the office for sick calls either have a ton of them, or have a combination of issues. The whole automatic step 1 letter for the 3rd or 4th sick call rumor is false. Yes you might get a letter after your 4th sick call, but there are gonna be other factors in play as well. I can tell you from personal experience and hearing from other guys that you can have 4 sick calls in 12 months and not hear a peep from the CPO.
