Thanks for the info

Default Displacement bid explanation

Can someone give a quick explanation of the Proffered Displacement vs Displacement vs Displaced and not enough bids and why some are just displaced and some are Disp/NEB?

Thanks

A proffered displacement is someone who is choosing to displace instead of a junior pilot who would otherwise be displaced. It does not have a seat lock or flow through lock.

Displacement uses the displacement preferences everyone should have entered.

Not enough bids means someone didn’t have any displacement bids, or not enough, and the people running the bid chose the next status for them.

For the FOs being displaced to captains, do they enjoy traditional displacement rights like A travel and hotels and relocation packages?

If you move to within 80 miles of base you get 4 additional move days and a paid move

Do you have any suggestions on how best to bid to extend the time between bid ‘award’ and reporting to upgrade training?

Thanks for the info, and for the record - I do how to calculate bingo fuel:-)
At Piedmont you can upgrade whenever you want and there is no reserve once you do.
