Is it better to wait until the end of the shift to get the hotel? How late is late to do an RF to book a hotel?

It doesn't really matter. It's usually up within 15 minutes no matter when you do it. Send it whenever you want.

Depends on where you are and what’s going on. If I was in LGA, I would book it a couple hours before I was done that way I didn’t end up in Brooklyn or Manhattan. Just make sure to do the RF and cancel it, as well as calling the hotel desk to confirm that they got it.

currently at Envoy… if you were to be hired today, with 4000 total time, 1500 part 121 SIC time…
would you be able to upgrade as soon as possible? dependent on equipment you're on?
How long would you sit reserve?
I'm considering it - length of reserve kind of is a big factor though since I don't live in any Envoy base.
True that the CRJ is on the way out?

It’s pretty hard to tell, but it seems like Envoy is starting to hire more guys with prior 121 experience. Also a good thing is there is lots of movement at Envoy right now.

Yeah, that would be me. I interview next month. If successful I'd be looking at staring in January. I want LGA, but more interested in QOL than the upgrade as I have plenty of 121 PIC time and I don't mind sitting in the right seat while I learn Envoy ops and the ERJ.
