I spoke to training today and thats what they told me. Any more than 30 hours and u get an unsat.. they changed this recently they said

I don’t think there is anything, but most don’t know that, so they’ll “relax” the non-existent rule and we’ll feel like we made a gain. So pop those earbuds in and listen to some Bieber as you head to G21.

Who did you speak to in the training department? We haven’t heard anything about this on the line. Quite frankly, with the rediculous delays in training between sims, MV, checkride, and IOE right now, some people are going to need more time when they have been sitting at home for 6 weeks. One new hire I talked to said he has had 16 weeks of basically paid vacation altogether in between training events, and he hasn’t been the only one. They can’t expect people to stay proficient when they are brand new to the airplane. At one point in this airline we had people getting 80-100 hours of IOE, although they were the outliers.
