If you look at 121.436 you will see you can combine the two assuming your 135 PIc is in a 10 or more jet.
If you were to come here, you would be upgraded no matter what (assuming you meet the 121.436 requirements) come January on the next bid!
I was much like yourself, but most of my time was 135. I was displaced to LGA CA on the 145.
If you do come here and meet the requirements, don’t be a sucker and take the 175... you will loose out on 5K and still be forced to upgrade.

I just want to reiterate to the guys with 121 and qualifying 135 experience, if you come here you will be forced to upgrade. It will not be a choice you make when you're ready. It'll happen whether you want it or not.
First year CA pay is not much better than the FO pay with all of the bonuses and I'm guessing you'll be on the bottom of the CA list in LGA for at least 2-3 years. That's 2-3 years of airport standby with 11 days off per month.
We had a good thing going at Envoy for a while, a few QOL issues aside. But now that they are forcing guys with experience into the left seat, I'd stay far away from this place until they improve the reserve rules and increase the CA pay. The way things are right now, it's just not worth it.
If you have less than 1,000 121 SIC, it's not a bad place to come since the movement is pretty fast for FO's.

Not only would you be able to upgrade immediately, but you’d be forced to if you have the qualifications. We just displaced, ie forced, over 50 FOs into the CA seat that we’re planning on riding out the right seat for now. Any base/equipment that you’d get hired into, with the exception of the CRJ, is seeing movement right now so RSV time should be minimal. With your 121 time you’d have a good shot at the 175 in ORD. RSV should be quick as it will be a growing status.
Reserve time will not be minimal if you get a captain seat immediately. It will be a long stretch of being the most junior captain, every FO that was hired before you that upgrades when they get their 1000 hours 121 will jump you on the captain list. Setting you up for perpetual reserve, potentially years of it.

So what basically happens if you are junior is you are called off rap at 0430 to come sit standby in 2 hours, then you sit there staring at the wall all day. Then they can and inevitably give you a trip starting up to 45 minutes after your standby suckfest shift ends. Making for a rediculously long day that is somehow legal and safe according to people that don't actually have to do it.
