Do you have whispy, white hair? A few extra pounds? Coffee stains on the uniform shirt? An ex wife or two? At least one of the following kit bag stickers: "pilots carry less than $100 in cash". "Experience matters". A palm tree sticker and/or In & Out burger logo..one of those? Saab type rating? Multiple Hawaiian shirts? Various cockpit idiosyncrasies that are matters of life and death to you?
If so..and in conjunction with the info you provided...You are most certainly an Eagle lifer who was put through the 9/11 wood chipper. Ever since I upgraded I never get to fly with you types anymore. Boy..I sure miss those trips.

I hear that, brother! AA is supposed to hire 90/month all next year...lets get the pitch forks and torches, head to HQ and threaten management with illegal (but pleasurable) things if they meter to 25/month.

Don't expect to flow as an FO, only the protected pilot group can do this.

Lets hope so! Counting down the days as a short timer. Even metered to 25/mo would get my crusty ol type out of here this year. I think we have sustained enough beatings and are ready to move on to new higher class (but virtually the same) beatings commuting to AA in NY or PHL lol..... Hell, at least we can reserve the jumpseat and bump off some poor helpless regional guy I guess.. its the little things in life. Kidding. Sort of.. Lol

I'm looking at letter 15-01 and I don't see the requirement anywhere to upgrade after the PP. I could be missing it though.

Reserve at AA isn't that bad, IF you live in base. Commuting to reserve sucks, no matter where you work.
One of the fun things at AA is the co-domicile. If you are based at LGA, you get to cover LGA, JFK and EWR. Many of the trips are not commutable on either end. Several 04:00 sign in's at EWR, thats always fun if your crash pad is in Kew gardens or Queens.
DCA is the same, cover DCA, IAD and BWI. MIA covers FLL and PBI, LAX is a co-domicile also.
It's better, but commuting to reserve still sucks. The pay just makes it easier to stomach.
