So on a new topic... there is a rumor around the training center today.
Apparently ALPA and endeavor have come to an agreement to get rid of Sign on Bonus and increase everyone’s pay..
If this is true, this could be great news.
What are your guys thoughts?

it's technically not a displacement bid and i have not checked my 3* in years, but if the slot are not filled, will the system go through my displacement bids in my 3* ?

Just to be clear are you talking about us or endeavor? The guy prior was referring to endeavor. They are bidding on their new contract soonish. It sounds like you are referring to Envoy changing the bonus structure to the pay scale. Wouldn't PSA and PDT also go to this as Well?

Knowing the way this company operates, they will implement the bonus into the FO pay scales and captains will continue to get the shaft.

What they could have done is taken the extra sign on bonus they are giving to prior 121 guys and turn that into an upgrade bonus. Then they don't have to use that stupid provision for upgrades. Theyd get qualified FOs to upgrade and they would still bring prior 121 people over because they'd get the bonus pretty quick after joining since we have a 3 month upgrade. But instead of goodwill they doubled down on sign on bonus and created more animosity between the pilot group and management. I wonder how well this operation is going to run in a year when the brand new FOs are forced to upgrade and are flying with other brand new FOs.
