Since I dropped the "other forum" and rumor has it that some people on here actually work for Envoy, I'll ask this here. Anyone else noticed on their W-2 that the company address is not Irving, but Phoenix? What gives?

People waiting for the next ground school class to open are still getting paid at the normal training rate.

Yes, I noticed. Didn't really care though.

I took a short trip. Been working on my house trying to sell it. Mostly just sleeping and watching Cops. I have been reading up and trying to stay pretty current for IOE.

Yep. $29.60 a day in tax free per diem and 64 hours a month at regular pay.

This is old news, payroll moved to Phoenix after the merger.

Thanks
There is a bit of a bottleneck in training. Expect to do Indoc Monday to Friday. Weekend off and take Indoc test on Monday. Very likely that you will not continue training right away. I just did my indoc test on Monday and will not continue my training until the 20th. After that, my schedule looks a lot like others have said. There are some others in my hire class with much longer down time than mine either due to difference equipment or seniority. I know if you're trying to schedule something in advance that's not going to help but I actually like having a bit of extra time to study up on limitations/memory items/flows before getting into the heart of the training so it works for me.

As far as pay, was told we were getting the normal training pay the entire time. However, I was told we only got 16 hours per day per diem for days we actually attended training. Getting that for days at home would be a nice surprise. Obviously haven't been here long enough to say what the pay stub shows.
