Also, Skywest doesn't need them to vote it in they can implement without a vote.
You guys crack me up. The whole reason OO has survived this long without a union is because they don't pull crap like this. If they did we would start organizing immediately.

And yet, we have managed to keep our better contract, gotten pay raises, improved work rules, given thousands in bonuses, and apparently getting more raises and work rule improvements soon. So what's your (Skywest pilots) excuse for working for so much less?
They have a lot of good things in their pay agreement but many of them seem uninformed and don't understand the extent of the pilot shortage. I don't know what could be more stupid than entering into a 5 year pay scale that does not keep up with inflation when pay rates are starting to skyrocket.

Skywest would survive just as well even if everyone was union there.

This might be the most ignorant thing I've seen posted on this site in quite a while.

The minute Skywest mgmt needs money to survive/improve bottom line the can, and will change what they see fit in order to meet that goal. To think they they would lose money for any significant amount of time and/or shutdown/shrink because you "have a good relationship with mgmt" or "they wouldn't do that to us" is so beyond naive we need to coin a new term.

Go on to pornhub and search "management wet dream" and you'll come across a video of a Skywest crew doing a before start checklist while smiling for the camera.

Well, they do have a 45 year history of doing things this way so I don't know what to tell you.

L-ASA is 11/2007 on the line and 12/2007 awarded with an effective date of 9/01/2017. Incidentally, the 12/2007 pilot is 37 numbers senior to the 10/2010 pilot.

That is correct, although there were only classes through May, 2008. There are currently 28 pilots left who were hired in 2008 and 11 who were hired in 2010.
