Okay, now that ASA is pretty much going Tango-Uniform in 18 months and hundreds of junior L-XJT pilots will find themselves at the bottom of the ISL, anyone care to take a guess at what'll be the new DOH seniority to hold CA in the CR7 and ERJ after this all shakes out?
The ERJ side is getting 90 upgrades in the bid that just closed. It'll depend on how many FOs that had bypassed decide to upgrade this time before the CRJ guys get to bid over. After that, it's anyone's guess.

Here's a question: what if there are no significant ERJ vancancies?

^this^ Its a net loss of 9 airplanes company -wide for the mathematically challenged. With attrition the way it is currently and the way its trending there really should not be a huge change for most.

With 90 upgrades and supposedly another company-wide bid in the coming weeks for CRJ pilots to bid ERJ I don't see any possible way the training department can keep up.

Time will tell if XJT can someday boast a sub-10 year upgrade.

Yea wont know until next October when the planes come off of the Delta contract. Conjecture is pointless with all the variables at play

The 90 upgrades and CRJ pilots bidding over to the ERJ side doesn't have to happen all at once. There is about 15 months before the CRJ Delcon operation ceases. That's more than enough time even if you include new hires and additional upgrades.

It has been said that CRJ pilots may not displace ERJ pilots. Will the company create enough ERJ vacancies to accommodate the displacements as they occur, or should CRJ captains expect to play musical CRJ bases/seats until an ERJ vacancy comes up? I don't see hundreds of ERJ captain vacancies over the course of 18 months, especially with the news of UA halting hiring until 2018. Just not seeing it.
