That's just your intial award correct since you're only two weeks in? Saw a bit back that many would get an intial award but it'd be changed to a higher preference by the time training was done since that's still months away and more new hires come in to fill lower spots.

Are they offering the 175 to new hire classes?

In the company presentation before my interview we were advised New hires will be seat locked in the 145 for at-least 18 months and I’m guessing when the 175 opens up it will be very senior.

Last bid a January new hire received the 175, meaning they finished training on the 145 but I’m not sure when they will start training for the 175. Maybe after 18 month, that’s the first I’m hearing of a seat lock.

Old coworker told me his class 5/14 was first to bid the 175. Just wondering if it's true.

Someone posted the cba awhile back on this thread or another...

18month seat lock on equipment. Can be waived by company.
Doesn't apply to higher pay position/plane.
So fo-fo same pay, seat lock, fo-ca (upgrade)and ca-ca different pay ($2? I think) no seat lock.
Dec/Jan class was most recent awarded the 175 iirc but doesn't mean they'll go to training for it soon. Very senior Capt side.

rj transition done julyish then upgrades next likely. 175 classes as needed as planes come on line. At least as I've seen/heard

Everyone I know that started before 5/6 whatever the initial was is what they still have. You can always get a domicile trade I guess or put in a bid again for the Domicile you want.

Bid your base where you live or easiest commute. Newark is bad for commutability. IAH has better pairings for commuting.
18+ years here and commuting to IAH currently. Former EWR and CLE commuter.

IAH seems to be in the wind. So ORD or EWR for easiest commute?
