Have a interview Friday via Skype. Want the 145 since I’m already typed in it. Where are most new guys going on the 145 out of training?

XJT is making a fleet change seems like. Probably an incorrect guess, I’m still learning how this stuff works 🤷*♂️
Being put on the 175 as a new hire doesnt mean you can only upgrade to the 175. You can still take upgrade to the 145 so the wait isn't any longer. Now as far as reserve, yes you probably would be on reserve longer but I guess that depends on who bids what in the future.

What is the size of each base at XJT? Any idea of which would be most likely to be the second 175 base?

ORD is rumored to be next 175 base but it's still only a rumor.

I read a couple of times somewhere in here that 175 flying right now is slow, which makes sense since fleet is super young. Someone said long reserves and slow flying for a while.
Any guess on when new hires will get decent hours on that fleet?

I appreciate it. If I’m not able to get IAH out of training, what would you say is the easiest commute out of CHS? Also, not to start a rumor or anything has anyone heard of a chance of a base opening somewhere in the Southeast?

You may not have a problem holding IAH right out of training but if you get placed somewhere else it wont take long to get back to IAH. Can't really help you with the CHS commute but I wouldn't hold my breath on any new domiciles in the southeast. It's normal to hear about a lot of base rumors but they dont often materialize.

Tragic. Well, I appreciate the info!

If anyone has any advice about a CHS commute and where the easiest commute would be before a move to Houston, I’d appreciate it!
