I'm starting to see more ORD in my life. Mostly my trips are through EWR and IAH. Some CLE. The IAH parts have taken me all around Texas, the midwest/plains, gulf coast, and even Mexico (my fav).

I usually work my schedule to credit 5 to 5.5 hours average per working day.
Thank you. I'm hoping for ORD right out of IOE and was wondering, if I do need to be on reserve, how often I will be used (ERJ).

Losing the -700's and adding 20-200's is still a net loss, no?
Why even bring up the E175SC's? Nothing has been awarded..

You mean losing the American and Delta contracts is still a loss. Yes, everyone agrees with that.

The fact that United is stepping forward with whatever they can do is “something”. (They are capped out and can only add 50 seat flying.)

The E175 is a sought after aircraft by pilots, and getting these 25 70 seaters while another carrier loses their 25 700’s is the first possible win I have seen Xjet have in a while. And, it is a win because Xjet management has convinced SGU to consider implementing a 175 program (or at least letting Xjet pilots sit in on SKW’s 175 program) when SGU has shown little interest in the past of extending Xjet’s existence.

This may all be a ruse, but if it is, Xjet’s MEC is naive or blind.

Default ORD Reserve Time (ERJ)?

I realize with the CRJ200's coming on line as well as other things possibly in play that this could change but. . .

As of now (and for the ERJ), how much reserve time, before being able to hold a line, should I expect for ORD?

Also, with a possbile October class date, what can I expect for a training schedule?

Probably 4 to 6 months reserve after training. I don't know how long training is taking right now.

Default Recent New Hire Class Size

I appreciate all the information and insight.

How many people have been in the recent new hire classes and/or are anticipated for September/October?

Looking at the new dates of hire appearing on the list, it's less than 10 per class.

Some classes are less than 5. Why would anyone be surprised.
