It did. But that doesn’t mean their wasn’t some back room negotiations by SKW. My guess is this was to fulfill the multi class jet agreement that Skywest made when they sold XJT. UA scope isn’t changing any time soon and this was the only way make that agreement whole.

(If those 175s wind up at SKYW, Imma throw things.)
it was a ploy to get the pilot group to sign a bad contract

Probably just wording that Skywest gets the planes if XJT couldn’t get the program up and running or fulfill the reliability requirements.

The slide deployments, massive sick calls by senior ASA pilots and other issues didn’t do us any favors.

Only operating 25 would have made the program too expensive for United’s liking. No way they planned to bring them here just to remove them. That’s terrible PR.

somehow I don’t think many TSA guys will come here if they can find a home at SkyWest in Denver. Why step from one sinking ship to another?

My thoughts exactly.

Agreed. There's no reason whatsoever we shouldn't get endeavor rates if they can afford to throw all this bonus money at new hires. Show me the money or else I'm out.

This isn’t Skywest’s fault anymore than it’s our fault TSA is going down.

The wording from the sale was for the NEXT batch of dual seat flying and there was no IF or WHEN attached to it.

I just dont understand why they would dump the 175 program where UA has interest in XJT but not in OO.
