I would think no more ATP-CTP classes and new hire sign on bonuses will save $25k right there.

They want to shut down an airline over $4 pay difference? What gap are they trying to really close?
Xjt has a lot of senior pilots. Way up or maxed out on the pay scale. They also have a more lucrative vacation system, better 401k, excellent medical, sick leave accrual, better per diem... xjt is more expensive in a lot of ways unfortunately. It’s a better product, it always has been the better product, but it costs significantly more, mostly due to ultra senior pilots.

$4 is the tip of the iceberg

There’s a WHOLE bunch of overqualified pilots who are gonna need to do something to stay current and slow their personal cash bleed until they get their old jobs back. I cringe to admit to myself that I’d have to consider it myself. When your livelihood gets crushed and you have mouths to feed......pride doesn’t pay the bills.

Does that make the post ok even if it were? Deflecting onto me doesn't change the nature of the post, and I won't be shamed for calling it out.

There was a bigoted statement, I called it bigoted, then I was called me childish. Even if I am childish, it doesn't excuse bigotry. The shame on you isn't for trying to shame me, it's for defending bigotry.

I'm not ashamed or embarrassed for calling it out, and you won't make me so.

to get back on topic, in regards to ExpressJet...

my one question is this...

Are our partners still noticing???

Seems that was the buzz words for so long, would be nice to hear that again from management. "Our partners are noticing"
