I’d think that United owning the planes is a bigger factor than prior investment stakes. We’ll have a pretty good idea how this is going to work by this fall. Here’s hoping for a faster than expected recovery.

If UAL gets in another cash crunch, look for SKW to swoop in and offer to do more pro-rate flying, and even lend money to UAL. I don't know what they do out in Utah that seems to work so well.
And no I don't/did not work for SKW.

We can argue back and forth. But i do believe the 50 seater will be around. But in a different capacity... XJT rebranded again, as its own airline doing prorate markets back east/midwest... that way UA can claim the don’t have any 50 seaters and zero risk...

SkyWest just announced the switching of MEI/PBI-to IAH. Under UA code..prorate. This is currently prorate for AA to DFW tell September.. And OO has some IAD prorate flights..
We can argue back and forth. But i do believe the 50 seater will be around. But in a different capacity... XJT rebranded again, as its own airline doing prorate markets back east/midwest... that way UA can claim the don’t have any 50 seaters and zero risk...

Great - I am sure these will be the hottest tickets in town. Are they prorate or EAS?
It is interesting though to see MEI/PBI go to IAH. I didn’t think IAH had any 200 operation.
What is the typical EAS contract length? 2 years if I recall correctly.
