It's impossible to answer that question. There's been no movement since 2007. So....3 years and counting right now.

Do they still put the new hire FA's in the same hotel as the pilot hires? Just curious!

When is the next ASA (actual ASA not XJT) new hire class? They were fired up right at the end of last year. Was Nov 1 the last class ?

They are hiring 72 more I think for expressjet. I got a call last week and they said on the phone that they were hiring 120 more. Definitely no ASA hiring... I asked specifically, but of course that could change. It took about 4 weeks from application and internal rec, to getting a call. They said classes will be done all the way from Feb to April. Interview is next week. Im pretty stoked on it.

Good luck!

Ok cool, Thanks.. Its that my heart skips a beat every time the phone rings in my pocket. I hope to get a call this week or next. My app is also with a couple internal recommendations so thats why i am suprised about the no call.
Good luck at the interview, please post all the interview questions you had. that would be very helpful

November 1 was the last class. In November they had said that they expected more classes after the first of the year, and we assumed that those classes were on the ASA side, although that hadn't been specifically mentioned. According to the powers that be, the ASA side is losing about 7 pilots per month to attrition, although December was a slow month. This means they should need a class of new hires beginning March 1st to cover that attrition. Just my opinion, not backed up with any facts, or even remotely reliable rumors! Any growth would require additional pilots.

There has been some talk that we are getting more CRJ-700's, but nobody I have spoken to seems to know if they are replacing some of the 200's, or if they are actually additional airframes.

Good Luck!
