I'm in the Jan 3rd XJT class. We are deep into systems training. What would you like to know?

Instructors are great. Everyone at XJT is thrilled to see new hires. It's been a great experience so far.

Good luck at the interview, please post all the interview questions you had. that would be very helpful
Sure thing. To be honest the call will come when you least expect it. I wasnt even waiting on a call really, I kind of gave up after they said they were only hiring the 96.. surely I wasnt going to get called. But it came in the form of an email out of nowhere. They called the next day to answer any questions, then gave me a choice of interview dates. Got the paperwork an hour later and the flight info a few days after that. Now its just study my ass off time.

Good luck!
As a former XJT instructor - This is great advice. Use the class time to your advantage, study up until a certain point then get a good night sleep. Trying to catch up on flows or systems knowledge is too difficult, and Ive seen some people wash out because of laziness or lack of preparation. (Not too many, but some).

I'll also add another - if you have a question, no matter how dumb you may think it is, JUST ASK!!!! Ask during class, ask at a break, ask after class - Walk up and ask your question!!!! Every student had my email and cell phone number and was made clear that they could call me anytime they had a question. These instructors are a good bunch of folks who want to see you succeed.

Another - The Volume 2 is not the most user friendly book. Don't get too wrapped up in it. Also, be careful of study guides or notes from your friends who went through initial back in 2005 (meaning not recently). Most of it will be outdated or just flat out wrong.

The next ASA new-hire classes will be Feb. 14 and March 7. It'll be 12 in each class.

News to me, although we did get an email from the CP's office outlining how to submit recommendations.

interviewed yesterday.. was told ASA is going to have a few more classes starting soon. initially they told us XJT on the phone interview but when we showed up yesterday they said now it could be for either.

interview went well... I sure hope I get the job. They are very professional over there. Enjoyed the interview thoroughly. The a-tech center is impressive as well.

Yes , February 14th is the next class and more will follow. Maybe only 10-12 per class right now. Freind just interviewed on the 26th and was told the same thing during the interview.
Yes I work at ASA and I'm in training, just don't post much.
