- Internship with any 121 carrier
- Good college GPA (2.5 or better I think)

So, my guess is that the person who got offered a class date with less time than you probably had one or a combination of the things I listed above. I could be totally wrong, too. Who knows.

Either way, congrats on passing the interview, now just hustle and get that time! It shouldn't take long to get 200 hours, depending on where you live.
I know the other person has an aviation degree but then again so do I. I dont have jet experience and I know she has a type on a citation so that might be it. thanks, I will do my best to get these 200 hrs knocked out as soon as I can. I just hope by then they dont forget about me. Thats some pretty bad timing on my part

Currently, here is the most junior pilot DOH in each base holding a line:

EWR - 9/19/2011 - 5 months reserve
IAH - 6/6/2011 - 8 months reserve
ORD - 8/8/2011 - 6 months reserve

So if you want to look at what's junior right now, that'd be CLE and EWR. But that was different 2 months ago. IAH and CLE were junior. IAH is about to be back that way. We have a bunch of upgrades that are about to come out of IAH and FOs there will be moving quickly.

New hire are going to all bases. Right now ORD is looking really short-staffed next month. We have days with as little as 10 reserves.
In case anyone is interested, I was in a November 2011 class and was awarded Newark (not my first choice). Finished IOE late January, after the Feb Bid. Was awarded a default short call line for Feb. For the March bid, I was just a few spots from getting long call. I'm almost assured (I think) of getting a relief line in April. Only two months of short call would be awesome, especially being a commuter. Newark is definitely moving fast.

That being said, having looked at where the current pool of trainees are going, it's surprisingly even between all four bases. Take this for what you will; PM me if you have any questions I can try to answer. I'm home sick.

Do you know how many in each class?

Classes of 32 or 16?

If you're a current 121 pilot do you think they would still care if you have PT. 91 busts?

I wouldn't be shocked if they up that... the staffing situation here is abysmal even after 14 months of non-stop hiring and upgrading. It's mostly block hour increases and some scheduling inefficiencies. Attrition looking back 1 year was a little over 200.
