What's the Latest at ASA/Expressjet?

Why does it seem your sense of loyalty to the ASA group is so low? Reading your posts and they always seem to be in defense of the XJT group. I'm not defending Tony, this is just an observation that your tone is noticeably anti ASA.
note: I'm all about ignoring the divisive folks among both our groups, and I'm not attempting to divide further.

Yes its tough to compromise but you also have to spend some time in the XJT pilots' shoes. Here is a news flash: it wasn't their CBA that was making XJT lose money. Their CASM prior to the merge was significantly less than ASA's, despite the better contract. Go read the 10K reports for both companies if you don't believe me.
Have some sympathy for these guys and try to understand where they are coming from rather than turn your nose up and decide we are better off apart. The exact opposite is true.

I don't really have a sense of loyalty to one group over the other. But I do find the need to point things out to a certain group of people that think the world revolves around them. Certain people that think the solution to the problem is to point fingers and insult the person they feel is the reason for the problem in their eyes.
I try to see things from all perspectives. Of course I can't agree with them all but I guess I just feel the need to speak up when I see people acting a way that I feel has a negative impact on merger progress.

There is change in the air at Asa side concerning elected officers to Alpa. We just removed 2 people from their position and elected 2 really aggressive people who actually believe in transparency. Word on the street is our current MEC time is coming to an end. Looking forward for him to return to the line.
