Hopefully it'll be soon. They aren't on an award yet and I wouldn't make any assumptions. In any case both have years of experience in multiple volunteer positions.

They are good guys. I'm glad to see them elected. God knows they have been here long enough to get the upgrade.

no matter how bad things are between the pilot groups I would never advocate shutting the other side down because they didnt "play ball". Yet again.. the entire L-XJT pilot group has been given NOTHING to vote on or any info to "play ball" with.

I'm surprised the company is showing some of the results for the "have your say survey." Although I'm not surprised how many people have expressed that they are not happy here, it is funny to see it.

Love it or hate it, the merits are debatable, but SmartPref is very clear sign to SKW, ASA, Brad Holt, Jerry, etc...that the XJT group is bargaining in a VERY CLEAR, "Shout it from the mountain tops" attempt to meet your group half-way. The ASA group is the one saying "pound sand."

You, Joe Merchant, and CA Tony's attempt to color it differently is nothing more than an exercise intellectual dishonesty, and a childish attempt to build a straw man to drive the groups apart.

Don't be so sure Mgmt sees you guys as their little angel.

Thanks. The feeling is mutual.

That is the most asinine thing I've heard yet.

Your side pushing SmartPref or nothing isn't meeting in the middle! That was your opening position when McK started pushing it a year ago! The facts, truth, whatever you want to call it is that SmartPref is not a viable system for primary bidding. It can barely even handle your secondary bidding! Yet your side refuses to move off this position of "SmartPref or current line bidding". It's being used as a poison pill. That's not compromising anything. And if we ask SKW which side is more reasonable, we all know what the answer is.

You can shout from the mountaintops all you want to. They've already heard you in St. George loud and clear. BOHICA is all I can say. We warned you.

I wasn't endorsing the SmartPref system, only pointing out that you are a flat-out liar when suggesting the XJT group refuses to budge on PBS.

We know your position. Your rhetoric on here suggests to everyone which side is building the brick wall. Somehow your new Eagle contract is a symbol of a "wink, nod" endorsement of the ASA groups negotiation tactics. Yet during the first 2 years of this merger, L-XJT grew at a steady clip, and hired nearly 1000 pilots...none of this has to do with negotiations.

BOHICA is right. UAL/CAL has been playing the block hour game with us about every 2 years going back a decade. Nothing to see here.

Nice edit. I'm a liar? Go ask Mc Knight what your official position is on PBS. It is in fact SmartPref or line bidding. and that position hasn't changed since your opener.

Except now you're owned by SkyWest. This isn't a "game'. SkyWest doesn't play games, especially with their money.

That's something we can agree on Tony. And as YOUR group digs its heels in further to make negotiations one-sided in your favor, it is YOU who is playing with St. George's money.
