What's the Latest at ASA/Expressjet?

ASAs PBS is kick ass for vacation months, and no doubt works for them. The problem is our flying is much different and from what I have seen, won't be as good for the L-XJT guys as it currently is for the ASA guys. I know the ASA side doesn't trust or like Steve & his committee, but that doesn't mean they would lead our MEC in the wrong direction. Steve, Mike, & Bob are extremely well versed in every aspect of the PBS & scheduling world and have the XJT guys best interest at heart, no doubt about that, as does the ASA scheduling guys
Also ( Joe Merchant & CA Tony can attest to this) MGMT has said over and over and over and over they simply would not say yes to their current PBS system as it stands now. ( Vacation low, which gives ASA guys a TON of days off for vacation) is something the company clearly hates. So, you take the company not liking it as it currently stands and it not working with our flying..........you kind of come to a gridlock...

I'm just looking forward to getting furloughed so I can have a QOL increase and pay raise...
2 years and still no contract...I have no faith in either MEC...
Time to merge Inc. into one big unhappy family, get rid of ALPA and start an in-house union.

, It annoys me that other guys on our MEC never post anything.I'm not attacking per say, I'm just trying to ensure people exercise their rights as ALPA members. If I truly am doing a bad job, I probably won't notice, so I would hope those that do think I suck, hold me accountable and get rid of me if they think its best

Don't listen to them. I've know you as rep as long as I have been here. We spoke yesterday morning. He has always returned my calls promptly and never bull crapped me. As a former union committee chair we worked side by side and joe is one of the best around.
