Joey,

Don't listen to them. I've know you as rep as long as I have been here. We spoke yesterday morning. He has always returned my calls promptly and never bull crapped me. As a former union committee chair we worked side by side and joe is one of the best around.

2 years and still no contract...I have no faith in either MEC...

Time to merge Inc. into one big unhappy family, get rid of ALPA and start an in-house union.
How long have you been with the company? Didn't you just get off first year probation?

Remember this?

Nothing sounds like a group of winners more than an in-house regional union. Best of luck if you go that way... you're going to need it! (ASA and XJT ALPA take in more money from ALPA than they contribute, fyi)

It's pretty well known and easy to research. I don't know of any regionals that produce more money than they take in- particularly when in negotiations.

The company is paying for the negotiations.

I'm trying to think besides UAL and DAL, which ALPA airlines are bigger than us? We have over 4,500 pilots.

I'm fairly certain that 80knots is right. It was either said outright or highly alluded to at an ALPA lunch once.

4,000 Pilots making $20-$120 an hour - what's DAL at? $60-$200+

It's all about payroll, not bodies. But I'm sure you know that.
