So what in the world did they tell these people to attract them? A few months ago they couldn't get an applicant, now their full.

I was in the DTW crew lounge last month talking to an FO on RRR. He had been on line for about 2 months if I can remember correctly. He and another guy in there were telling me that during the interview and even through INDOC the company is telling them that upgrades are at 1.5-2 years. Something around there from what I remember. They were truly convinced of this. Kind of sad that the company has to push the lies one step further.

Any new guys care to chime in? What are they telling you?

haha when my wife interviewed at the beginning of 2011, they said the JCBA would be done by the end of the year and she'd be able to bid ATL even though she was being interviewed into an ERJ class. Yeah right!

How do you know this is a lie? Do you know the game plan? Do you know why xe pilots are not being moved over to asa even with a reduction of 53000 block hours next year?

Its a lie because its impossible to predict movement like that. Reckless and immoral as well to con these kids into making career decisions because the company is desperate to fill classes.

When I interviewed two years ago, the lie was "3 years from now, you guys are going to be down the street at Delta" I guess that wasn't a lie either?

Been here 2 years and you know everything there is to know about this industry. How does ASA control the hiring at another airline. Did you ever think it might be your creds? Grow up and grow a set.

I know it's a lie because they have everything to gain by saying it. Upgrading 500 plus people takes time and well....... a miracle when the industry is in the state it's currently in.

Not going to judge but how long have you been doing the airline thing? You seem a little naive. Do you buy things from infomercials? Do you have a Shamwow?

Just asking.
